Most aircraft have different overhead bin capacity so we designed the Lil Flyer to act like a stroller which allows you take it through security and use it throughout the airport.  Most airlines will grant exemption for stroller and worse case scenarios, you can gate check the luggage.  From our past travel experiences, we have no problem with the overhead bin if we fly the standard plane size, Boeing 737, ex Southwest.  If we take commuter planes then we will have to either put the luggage under the seats in front of us or gate check it.  You can also check out our instagram posts from our customers' experiences.

We do not advertise that the wheels light-up because they operate through kinetic energy (motion, friction & weight).  The wheels may build up energy over time but we cannot guarantee they will all light up in unison.  We chose this wheel because it's rugged and durable on most surfaces and higher weight capacity.  All though whimsical, the lights do not affect the performance of the LIL FLYER.
